| 3-day Mathematics workshop concludes at Army School Akhnoor | | | Early Times Report
Akhnoor, June 27- The 4-day Mathematics workshop for all the schools of Northern Command, organized under the guidance of KCS Metha Principal Army School, Akhnoor concluded here today.
Earlier, the workshop was inaugurated by Brig Sudhir Lanba, SM, Commander 10 Arty Brigade and Chairman of the School.
In the workshop Tara Chaudhary gave presentation on ‘Behavioral Modification’ bringing out aspects and Importance of controlling the class and making all the students interested in the subject.
The resource person Dr JN Balia of Jammu University spoke on the topic ‘learning mathematics : a boon or bane’ kept the teachers spell bound and engrossed throughout, brining out various aspects of learning and teaching mathematics.
There was an online interactive lecture by Savant Institute New Delhi. The resource person for online lecture was Panda. The topic was ‘Mathematics, Most loved/hated subject’. It was an interactive session with the teachers clarifying the doubts and asking question online and getting their answers instantly via satellite. The teachers of different participating schools also gave their presentation on different topics.
