| Education Times fest conludes | | | Early Timee Report Jammu, June 27- The 2- day conference-cum- exhibition fest -2009 organized by the Education Times, a niche brand of Times of India, concluded here today. The Conference has been instrumental in giving wings to the aspiration of young students from every field seeking to achieve higher goal. The exhibition-cum-counseling session was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand. Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister asked the young generation to inculcate good moral values and education so as to compete in today’s competitive era. He also exhorted the teachers and parents to understand the latent capacity and attitude of the aspirants instead of goading them in a wrong direction. “If a child desires to become an engineer we all should help him/her to achieve his/her destiny instead of trying to give shape of our dreams to make him/her a doctor, he said. Dy. Chief Minister emphasized that students should also learn their regional languages which will help them in finding government jobs. Despite the ongoing heat wave large number of academicians and education administrators, aspirants and their parents visited the fest. The institutions which participated in this fest included PTU Soft lab; Star Aiation Academy; Aman Bhalla College of Engg & Technology; Uttranchal College of Science & Tech; Sai Institute of paramedical & Allied Sciences; Rai Business School; Global Management Sciences; Punjab National Bank; Baba Farid Institute of Tech; KLM International School Pathankot; Bharti Airtel Ltd; Trikuta Degree College/Jammu Law College and Aspire Finishing School sponsored this fest.
