Youth to get proper representation in BJP: Nirmal Singh
6/28/2009 11:25:53 PM
Early Times Report
Kathua, June 28- The state unit of the BJP today hinted to reconstitute the district level committees and giving nearly 50 percent representation to the youth in the newly formed committees.
This was stated by the senior party leader and member National Executive committee Prof Nirmal Singh while addressing party workers here today.
With a view to strengthen the party at the grass roots level, he said, focus is being laid on new strategies and encouraging the youth by their inclusion in decision making bodies.
Prof Singh also took the state government to task for backtracking from the earlier decision of setting up Central University at Jammu and warned that any such move would be fought tooth and nail.
Referring to the oft repeated demand of revocation of AFSPC and withdrawal of troops from the trouble torn Kashmir Valley, Prof Singh said such a move aimed at discouraging the troops and encouraging the secessionist and terrorists.
