| One Kg Heroin recovered, 3 arrested | | |
Jammu, Sept 26 Police claimed to have seized one kg of Heroin and arrested three persons during a surprise checking of vehicles on Jammu-Pathankote National Highway in Kathua district, this morning.
Official sources told News Agency of Kashmir that acting on a tip off police laid down a special naka near Hatti Morh on Jammu-Pathankote National Highway, this morning. During the checking of the vehicles the police team intercepted a Mauti Car and recovered one kgs Heroin from the possession of three persons traveling in the vehicle.
Booked under NDPS Act, the accused have been shifted to Kathua police station, where their interrogation was in progress. One of them has been identified as Muhammad Sharief, while the identity of others could not be ascertained immediately. |
