A fresh batch of 1,764 pilgrims today left here for Shri Amarnath
shrine in South Kashmir Himalayas, an official spokesman said.
A convoy of 56 vehicles, including 21 SRTC buses, 14 private buses and
21 LMVs, proceeded for the holy shrine from Yatri Bhawan here at Bhagwati Nagar, the spokesman said.
There were 328 women, 50 children and 224 Sadhus among the pilgrims in
this batch, the spokesman added.
