JAMMU, June 29: Vijay Lochan Chairman, All J&K Dalit Maha Sabha Jammu conveyed thanks and congratulated Omar Abdullah, on behalf of Dalit Community for taking bold decision in favour of poor and Dalits of the J&K State to have fresh survey of BPL families. As previous list of BPL was not as per actual position of the poor people and dalits. Poor and Dalits actually failing under BPL could not be figured in previous list will be benefited now, he said.
Lochan further added that the decision is highly appreciated because CM’s committed to have fresh survey of BPL during J&K state Assembly election which he has fulfilled now as per desire of poor people state. Sabha stands firmly hopeful that whatever other commitments made by CM for the uplifting and betterment of J&K State especially poor and Dalits shall be fulfilled as per desire of the people during his six years regime. Others who were present in press conference are Simer Dass Secretary Dalit Maha Sabha, Chaman Lal Bhagat and Jagdishraj Batwal Panch.
