| Prof. Yuening of Chin holds interaction with local musicians | | |

Jammu, June 29: A interaction with Prof. Liu Yuening a well known performing artist and music educator of China was organized at K.L. Saigal hall by the J&K academy of art, culture and languages here today.
Welcoming a gathering of the learned musicians, artists and other persons on the occasion. Shamima Akhtar, Incharge additional secretary, threw light on the biography of guest from China.
Anita Sharma, a renowned singer of the state who was the chief guest on the occasion thanked the academy for organizing such programme which play a vital role and prove to be meaningful and purposeful.
A galaxy of writers and learned persons who attending the function asked many question related to her work and assignments being undertaken by her at China and abroad. They also made her known about the work being done by the academy and other N.G.O’s for the promotion of art, culture and language in the state.
The interaction proved fruitful for the local musicians, artist and students of music who were able to have a glimpse of traditional music of china. Lalit Gupta, a well known art-historian presently conducted the proceedings of the programme, whereas Dr. Sudhir Mahajan, Sr. Drama instructor presented vote of thanks.
