JAMMU, JUNE 30 -Due to the damage caused to 1 MVA electric transformer on the night of June 29 and 30 at Company Bagh Pumping station, the intervening water supply in Purani Mandi, Mohalla Paharia, Partapgarh, Raghunath Bazar, Raghunath Pura, Mohalla Kaleeth, Upper Gumat, Bus Stand Peet Mitha shall remain affected for one or two day.
On the directions of Minister for PHE, a meeting of Corporators of the area, prominent citizens and representatives of different Business Associations was convened by Chief Engineer, PHE, Jammu, Mr. V. K. Abrol alongwith senior officers of PHE City Division, Jammu wherein their cooperation was sought from the public to bear with the situation and use water judiciously.
The department would to provide water to these areas by the all other possible means.
