KATHUA, JUNE 30 : Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Kathua Mr Rishi Kumar Gupta who attained superannuation today after rendering 27 years of government service was given a rousing farewell by the Assistant Commissioner Development and staff of Rural Development Department Kathua, today.
A grand function was organized to bid adieu to the retiring officer.
District Development Commissioner, Kathua, Ms Mandeep Kaur, ADC Kathua, AC ®, AC (D), Project Officer DRDA and other officers were also present on the occasion.
Mr Gupta joined the government service as Block Development Officer, Purmandal on June 25, 1982. He served the government in various capacities as District Panchayat Officer Kathua, Deputy Director Handlooms, Deputy Secretary GAD, SDM Samba, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Samba and Additional District Development Commissioner Kathua from October 20, 2008 to date.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC lauded the services of Mr Gupta as ADDC Kathua. All the officer wished Mr Gupta a happy and prosperous retired life.
