| Excise team visits distilleries, stresses hygiene | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, JUNE 30: Excise Commissioner, Mr Pradeep Gupta accompanied by the Deputy Excise Commissioner, Distilleries, Jammu and other senior officers of Excise Department undertook inspection of the distilleries and bottling plants located in Industrial Growth Centre (IGC) Samba here today.
He went round M/S Napolian Blenders and Bottlers, M/S Basantar Bottlers, M/S Trikuta Bottlers and M/S Oakland Bottlers all located in IGC Samba and impressed upon the managements to redouble their efforts to enhance production and thereby earn additional revenue for the state.
He also emphasized that the units should maintain requisite quality and hygiene standards. The Excise staff posted at the distilleries was instructed to be vigilant to prevent any leakages or evasion of excise duty.
