Conference on Ayurvedic medicines on July 4

Jammu, June 30- To project various significant problems being faced by the professionals of Indian System of Medicines, Jammu and Kashmir Chapter of All India Ayurvedic Congress (AIAC) is organizing one day conference here on July 4.
The main issues being discussed in the conference include bifurcation of Indian System of Medicines, establishment of separate Directorate of Ayurveda and Unani for Jammu Division and Kashmir Division respectively, regularization of newly opened 95 ISM Institutions, presently managed on internal arrangement basis, provision of staff for 45 single handed dispensaries, functioning since 1982, regularization of contractual ISM Doctors working under National Rural Health Mission and other state level schemes, registration of Private ISM practitioners on experience basis under J&K Ayurvedic Unani Practitioners Act 1959, filling up of all vacant posts, creation of Administrative posts for newly created Districts, rationalization of annual drug supplies for ISM Institutions, besides up gradation of 25 bedded Government Ayurvedic Hospital.
