| 50 children of JKSM take part in summer camp | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 30- To channelize the creative energies of the students in a more purposeful manner, the J K Montessori School organized a month long summer camp for the children. During the camp a group of 50 children of JKMS and adjoining schools were provided facilities for learning music, dance and personality grooming which included stage speaking, body language and making small craft items of waste material. During the camp a series of competitions were also held. In hand writing competition Ritvik and Aasmi bagged Ist and 2nd prize while in public speaking competition Aarushi and Shreya Mohan of Presentation Convent and KC Public School bagged Ist and 2nd prize respectively. Yaogeshwar and Gurshan of JKSM won Ist and 2nd prize in drawing competition. Principal of the school Rajni Gupta said that the objective of the camp was to create cultural interest among the young minds and to boost self confidence among them.
