Adbi Kunj, Jammu, held a composite literary meet, the other day at its literary cetntre Talab Tillo which was presided over by K.K. Shakir a Known Dogri poet while S. Bachan Bharti, a well known Punjabi poet from R.S.Pura was Chief Guest.
According to press release at the outset, Participants complimented, President Adbi Kunj Sham Talib on his 65th birthday and wished him long life. In the Deputy Director, Radio Kashmir, Srinagar for the release of this latest poetic collection in Kashmiri and the second one complimenting Kahsmiri Lal Zakir, known Urdu writer for being by West Bengal Urdu Academy for his latest novel “ Agni- Pariksha”.
In the meet Muni Lal Puri read his life brief write-up titled “ Rooh Se Milap”. The poetic session started with recitation of ghazal written by Narinder Manav, a poet from Jalandhar, which was read by S.Inder Singh. Bachan Bharti read poem “ Boot Polish Waley”. Others who recited their poems and ghazals included K.K .Shakir, Talib Kashmiri, P.S.Bhalla, Trilok Sharma, Suresh Rahi, Mangat Ram ( Mendhar) , Daya Ram Daya, R.K.Bharti, M.L.Puri, Rajeev Kumar, Com. Jaswant Singh and Sham Talib.
The meet concluded with vote of thanks presented by Trilok Sharma, and the proceedings were compared by Talib Kashmiri.
