| PDP appoints district presidents | | |
Srinagar, July 4- Peoples Democratic Party which met here today under the chairmanship of party President Mehbooba Mufti appointed new district presidents for various districts in Kashmir Valley. Senior Party leaders Molvi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari and Mohammad Dilawar Mir were also present at the meeting.
According to party handout the party has appointed Peer Mohammed Hussain as president for Anantnag district, Ghulam Mohiudin Mir for Pulwama, Saifudin Bhat for Budgam , Mohammed Shafi Bandey for Shopian, Mohammed Ashraf Mir for Srinagar and Tashi Gaylson Spon for Leh.
The newly appointed presidents have been advised to immediately reconstitute the District and Zonal committees with a view to make the party more active at the ground level. The new District, zonal and Block units will carry the vision of the party to gross root and project public aspirations and highlight the daily problems of the people to seek their redressal.
