| CBI to file final charge sheet in JK sex abuse case on Wednesday | | | Srinagar, September 26: Central Bureau of investigation is scheduled to file final charge sheet before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Srinagar in respect of four people named accused in Jammu & Kashmir sex abuse case. Meanwhile two special CBI teams recorded statements of those arrested in connection with their involvement in women's sexual exploitation cases of Magam Budgam and Mahraj Ganj in the year 2004 and the investigation of both the cases has been started. The CBI ,according to sources, is scheduled to file third charge sheets against four accused persons namely Syed Altaf Ahmed, an official of SMHS hospital Srinagar, Hilal Ahmed Shah (Mughal Darbar Bakery , Karan Nagar Srinagar), Absar Ahmed Dar (Retd. Police constable), and Shopkeeper Aijaz Ahmed Bhat (Gawkadal Srinagar). This will be the final charge sheet of JK sex abuse case of which Sabina is the king pin, sources added. All the four accused were arrested on charges of involvement in JK sex abuse case on August 3 this year. The CBI has filed two charge sheets so for during which 42 people were named accused in high profile JK sex abuse case, but none of them was arrested so for. The CBI has arrested 18 people in connection with the investigation of JK sex abuse case so for and cases of 14 of them have been referred to session court Chandigarah on the directions of Supreme court, while as a senior IAS Officer one of the accused persons, has been released on health grounds. Meanwhile it has been learnt that CBI has taken up the investigation of women's sexual exploitation cases of Magam Budgam and Mahraj Gunj and statements of those arrested previously in this connection have been recorded. The CBI has sent two special teams from Delhi to probe both the cases. |
