| Khajuria demands relief for ‘Shukla Gas Agency’ | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, JULY 5: BJP State President Ashok Khajuria, accompanied by other leaders of the party, today visited the residence of Om Parkash Shukla to express sympathy for suffering financial loss due to fire incident which resulted into heavy damage to his shop situated at Purani Mandi Chowk. Established in early 70s and popularly known as "Shukla Gas Agency", this shop was having facilities of gas and electronic items. On the intervening night of last Friday, the shop suddenly got fire and turned into ashes. The shop was the only source of income to Shukla family and after this incident the family is feeling helpless. After interacting with Om Parkash Shukla and other family members and getting the details of the incident, Khajuria took the matter with the Divisional Commissioner on telephone and demanded immediate relief and compensation to the family so that they can earn the livelihood. BJP State Secretary Yudhvir Sethi, Office Secretary Shiv Kumar Gupta, District President Jammu Rajesh Gupta, and Ramesh Sharma, Kuldeep Sharma, Naresh Pradhan, Smt. Darshana Devi, Vijay Mehra, Subash Gupta, Pawan Pandoh, Ashwani Sharma and Vidya Devi also visited the residence of Om Parkash shukla alongwith the BJP state chief.
