| MLA Bhalla inaugurate const. of deep drain in ward 69 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 6: MLA, Raman Bhalla, inaugurated the construction of deep drain in sector – A, of ward no 69 for speedy disposal of rainy water. The drain is approximately 700 mts in length when completed will benefit nearly 300 residential house of the sector who had been facing lot of problems due to stagnation of water.
Bhalla who visited various areas of the ward directed the offices of ERA to complete the construction work of overhead tanks in sector, A, C and G at an earliest and also layout water pipes. The residents of G sector urged the MLA for construction of bridge to connect A and G will benefit over ten thousand people of both the sectors. A park in sector –B is being constructed at a cost of Rs 32 lacs. Among others he was accompanied by corporate, Thakur Jai Singh.
