Jammu, Jul 6: Security forces arrested a suspected militant and recovered SIM cards and cash besides some ammunition from his possession in Doda district.
Based on specific information, a joint operation was launched by police and the army last night in Thathri area and one suspected militant identified Nissar Ahmed was arrested from Lowar, Thawa area, official sources told UNI.
Meanwhile one SLR, four magazines, three mobile phones, four SIM cards and cash of Rs 2.80 lakh was also recovered from his possession.
A case has been registered against him and investigations are in progress.
