| Eminent trade union leader joins PDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 7: Eminent trade union leader Rehmatullah Malik today Peoples Democratic Party in a function which was held at party office at Gandhi Nagar in whch senior leader of the party were present.
Rehmatullah Malik is prominent trade union leader. During his service in the Education Department Mr Malik worked for the cause of the working class and employees. He was remained as senior vice-president of the Low Paid Employees Federation. He also worked as state vice-president of the INTUC.
In 2008 assembly elections, Mr Malik contested the election as candidate of DPN from Inderwal assembly segment.
Party general secretary Thakur Balbir Singh, party secretary and MLC Sayed Asgar Ali, party spokesman A K Sawhney, Kirpal Singh, Balbir Singh and other leaders were present on the occasion.
