| Panun Kashmir to hold demonstration on Martyrs’ Day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 7: Panun Kashmir held its executive body meeting today and announced that a massive protest demonstration would be held on 13 July. The day observed in the state as the martyr’s day marks the beginning of the first organized pogrom and violence against the community, alleged a handout of PK.
Dr.Anishekhar while speaking on the occasion that Kashmiri Pandits should participate in large numbers to register their protest on the occasion. This would be the first public programmee after integration and the process of reorganization in Panun Kashmir.Ashwani Chrungoo while speaking on the occasion said that in the days to come Panun Kashmir would be taking up the issues of the community related to the jobs for the unemployed youth of the community, the issue of traders and the temple bill on a fast track.
National Spokesman,Virender Raina while speaking on the occasion said that in the coming days Panun Kashmir has planned programmes to highlight the crucial issue related to the special employment package for the unemployed youth of the community, as promised by the Prime Minister.Employmdent Package for the youth of the community was one of our prominent demands that we raised before the Prime Minister in the RTCs and as a result of which PM had announced the special employment package for the KP community. We urge the Govt. to immediately announce a special package of 15000 jobs for the displaced community so as to save them from complete ruin. This would go a long way in retaining the Kashmiri Pandit community in the body politic of the state till return to their separate Homeland in Kashmir.
