SRINAGAR, July 07: Fahad Hundu and Umar Mushtaq today made it into the final of junior snooker in the ongoing Srinagar District Billiards and Snooker Championships under the banner of J&K Billiards and Snooker Association at Bakshi Stadium, here.
Earlier, in the semi-finals, played today, Fahad trounced Hilal Ahmed in straight 3-0 frames in the best of five games. In the second semi-final, Umar outplayed Zahoor Ahmed in similar fashion.
“The final has been scheduled for tomorrow evening,” organizing secretary of the championships, Umar Humayun told SAN.
THE RESULTS (Semifinals): Fahad Hundu bt Hilal Ahmed 60-24, 69-27, 71-33; Umar Mushtaq bt Zahoor Ahmed 66-40, 85-33, 87-22.
