Jammu, July 8: For free flow of vehicular traffic and in convenience to the pedestrians the enforcement wing of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) led by chief enforcement officer today carried out day long anti-encroachment drive. The team removed encroachment in front of shops and foot paths at Raghunath Bazar, city chowk, old hospital road, Gumat, Kanak mandi, residency road, Vinayak bazaar and Jewel Chowk and seized the articles. During the drive three rehris plying without license wee also seized.
As per press and electronic media officer, JMC, Kamni Kesar, a number of times JMC has appealed to the shopkeepers to keep their goods with their shops and avoid seizure of these articles.
