| Kashmiri Hindus: Expose culprits of Shopian | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 8: Kashmiri Hindus Conference (KHC) expressing sympathy with Shopian victims has urged upon the state government to expose the persons behind inhuman tragedy in Shopian. Addressing the activists of the organization in a meeting here today P.L. Kaul Badgami said, that the allegation leveled by Shakeel Ahmed Ahanger, Neelofar’s husband against the police are alarming. He said charges against national conference for backing police is a sad tale about the tragedy and chief minister’s statement add fuel to fire and added it is a bolt on national face.
M.L. Thusoo in the meeting expressed resentment against the government which till date failed to implement prime minister’s employment package for the Kashmiri Hindu youth announced in June 2008. He said, this shows state government is taking revenge against the future generation of Kashmiri Hindus.
Among others also spoke in the meeting were K.L. Ganjoo, A.K. Kaul, H.N. Zutshi, M.L. Mantoo, S.N. Raina, Ashok Kumar, Beauty Pandita etc.
