24 children from J&K visit Chandigarh

Jammu July 08: 24 children from various parts of Jammu and Kashmir visited the city under Operation Sadbhavna, which aims to enhance Army-civil co-operation.
Defence Spokesperson said that the trip of the children to Chandigarh yesterday was organised as part of the ongoing effort of the Army to give the students an opportunity to visit other parts of the country. 103 Air Defence Regiment of the Army, has organised and sponsored the tour during which the children will visit Delhi and Agra and return back on July 14. The aim of Operation Sadbhavna is to provide an opportunity to the children from terrorism-stricken areas to familiarise and interact with the people of the rest of the country and build bridges of friendship and understanding between them.
