| State level kabaddi meet from July 18 in Kargil | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 08: After completing their inter-school competitions at the district level, the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) is holding inter-district state level kabaddi (boys’ U-17 year) championship at the remote district of Kargil.
“The boys’ under-17 kabaddi event is scheduled to be conducted from July 18 to July 20 at Kargil wherein almost all the 22 districts have confirmed their participation,” Deputy Director (Activity) DYSS, S S Bali told SAN.
The Department is in the process of finalizing the arrangements for the mega event. Accordingly, all the participating districts have been informed to chalk out their plan considering the distance.
Meanwhile, the Department is also conducting a state level Scouts and Guides Camp at Yousmarg in district Budgam. The week-long programme shall commence from July 14.
