| SRTC employees criticize MD's delaying tactics | | |
Jammu Sept- 26-To discuss long pending issues of the employees and to chalk out next program, the Jammu and State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC) Employees Federation today held a meeting under the chairmanship of S.Amrik Singh Sasan.
The meeting took strong exception to the delaying tactics of the Managing Director in relegating their demands to the background.
Ashok Mehra President of the Federation alleged that the MD has cheated the employees by not conducting the DPC meeting as was promised earlier.
Pawan Sharma General Secretary said that the genuine demand of the Federation relating to the general transfers in the Corporation has been turned down by the management causing heart burning among the employees and demanded immediate release of pending salary to the employees.
Dev Raj Bali senior Vice President suggested the government to improve the working of the Corporation or close it down by offering golden handshake to the employees on the pattern of Jammu and Kashmir Bank.
Earlier, the employees organized a 2-hour protest rally in support of their demands. |
