Kottayam, Jul 8: Babugy (45) of Thazhathangady had set record by making a handwritten copy of the Holy Quran, which he claimed to be the biggest of its kind in the world.
He had given application to enter the Guinness Book of World Records, reports said adding that the book, 85 cm in length and 65 cm in width, had 603 pages and weighed 50 kg. The writer took three years to complete the holy book.
