| Militant torch SPO's house in Basantgarh area | | |
JAMMU SEPT-26- Militants are reported to have burnt down the residential house of Manzoor Ahmed,SPO at Panala area in Basantgarh of Udhampur district late last night.
The reports said that in order to take revenge from the SPO, who earlier happened to a VDC member, for helping security forces, the militants put his house on fire late last night resulting into complete damage of the house and other house hold goods. However, there was no loss of life.
The reports said that the said SPO had passed on vital information to the Security Forces on September 14 last about the presence of some militants in the area, which led an encounter between the forces and the militants in which one terrorist was killed.
Police is investigating the case. |
