| 1,735 pilgrims leave for Amarnath | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jul 10 A fresh batch of 1,735 pilgrims, including 304 women, 41 children and 205 Sadhus, today left for Amarnath cave shrine in South Kashmir Himalayas amid tight security cover, an official spokesman said. Spokesperson said that a convoy of 59 vehicles, including 34 State Road Transport Corporation buses, nine private buses, a truck and 15 LMVs left the Yatri Bhawan here at 0540 hrs today amid tight security cover. The two-month tour amaranth pilgrimage started from shorter Baltal route on June 15, after a week's delay from the original schedule, while the traditional Pahalgam-Chandanwari route was opened for yatris on June 26.
