Leh, July 10: To review the pace of works and other activities going under district health society, Leh, in a meeting of members and district officers 2was held today under the chairmanship of deputy commissioner, A.K. Sahu.
A threadbare discussion was held as per the agenda in the meeting includes engagement of Amchi under tribal RCH programme, engagement of retired staff nurse for neonatal unit, engagement of FMPHW against the staff nurse, advertisement of AYUSH doctors and dawasas, strengthening and construction work of district hospital and integrated disease surveillance project.
Addressing the meeting Sahu urged the doctors to organize awareness camp in schools and far off villages for general information of the people. DC asked the CMO, Leh to depute doctors to various blocks where no doctor is posted till date.
