Two pilgrims today died due to heart attack on their way to cave shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi in Katra belt of Reasi district, police officials said here.
60-year-old Ameer Lakshmi Chand of Chamboor, Mumbai, suffered a heart attack this morning near Adhkuwari enroute to the cave shrine. He was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, they said.
In a separate incident, 42-year-old Sharad Kesar of Pune, Maharastra, also had died due to cardiac arrest near Bhawan enroute the cave shrine, they said.
