| Additional power curtailment | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, JULY 11: According to BHEP, Baghilar, unit-II of BHEP (150 MW) will be under shutdown from 10 a. m July 10, 2009 (for a period of 7-days) and there will be a shortfall of 75 MWs in the schedule of J&K state. Due to this shortfall, PDD may have to resort to additional curtailment.
In view of above, all the electricity consumers and general public is requested to kindly bear with the present situation wherever unscheduled curtailment is there. This situation is likely to continue for few days more due to harsh summer weather till rains are there.
Further, all the electricity consumers are accordingly requested not to use heaters and air conditioners during peak hours, keeping in view the above stated power scenario.
