| Kundra residents demand backward area status | | | Early Times Report

Residents of Kundra (Bhabber) Tehsil and District Reasi held a meeting under the chairmanship Sarpanch Bodh Raj Sharma and deliberated upon various issues. The participants also demanded backward Area status for the people of the area.
During the proceedings of the meeting the participants appealed to the government and concerned authority of District Reasi to grant some hand pumps, one beside Bhabber canal and one nearby Jamia Masjid Bhabber so that the residents of close area may not face the scarcity of water and also demanded due repairs of the water supply pipes, and construction of three culvert bridges for crossing the Payee Nallah and Chinab at over-head Payee Canal, Dera Baba Banda Bahadur locality.
Other demands highlighted in this meeting included identification of land for allopathic centre of village Kundra/Bhabber, release of an ambulance for Kundra/Bhabber and Dera Baba Banda Bahadur and status of Backward Area ge given to people of these areas Prominent among those present in the meeting were Mohammad Yaseen, Riaz-Ul-Haq, Mohammad Shafi, Som Raj, Nanak Chand, Mohammad Hussain, Sher Mohammad, Gopal Sharma, Mohammad Din, Milkhi Ram, Thakur Dass, Sansar Chand, Chuni Lal, Ram Lal, Tara Chand and others.
