| Rs 1350 fine collected from 13 milk sellers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
REASI, JULY 12: Keeping in view the various complaints against the milk sellers of various localities of Reasi town, a team of Municipal Committee, Reasi took samples of about 3 quintal and 70 kg milk out of which only 70 kg milk was found up to the desired level. The team destroyed 3 quintals of remaining adulterated milk on-the-spot.
Fine to the tune of Rs.1350 was also imposed on 3 milk sellers.
The Milk sellers of all the concerned areas like Gran Morh, Kansi Patta, Kheral, Simble Choa and other localities have been warned by the Municipal Committee to refrain from adulteration of milk or else stern action under rules shall be initiated against them.
Drive against the milk sellers selling adulterated milk shall continue in future.
