SRINAGAR, JULY 12: Governor N. N. Vohra, paid rich tributes to the martyrs of 1931.
In his message on the occasion of the Martyrs’ Day, Governor recalled the sacrifices of the martyrs and observed that their martyrdom paved the way for achieving the cherished objective of self-governance in the true spirit of democracy. Governor urged upon the people of Jammu and Kashmir to rededicate themselves to democratic values and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, secular ethos, amity and harmony for realizing the vision of a peaceful, developed and prosperous State.
