EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, July 12: Landslides disrupted traffic on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, the only surface link between Kashmir and rest of the country, which was closed today, leaving nearly 300 vehicles stranded. Due to rainfall, there was a major landslide on the highway at Samroli in Uhdampur district, 78 kms from here, and a minor one at Seri and Panthial in Ramban district blocking the national highway for vehicular traffic, the traffic police said. The Border Road Organisation (BRO) personnel were engaged in clearing the highway, they said.There were over 300 vehicles stranded near Aamroli and other places, they said.
