| Mehbooba says, mission still incomplete | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, July 13: Peoples Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti accompanied by senior party leaders today visited the Mazar e Shuhada to pay homage to the martyrs of Kashmir freedom struggle. Party President Mehbooba Mufti and other senior leaders of the party offered Fateha and laid floral wreaths at the graves of those who on this day in 1931 who had laid down their lives in the first rebellion against autocratic rule. Paying tributes to the martyrs Mehbooba said the mission of the martyrs of 1931 would remain incomplete till peace with dignity was restored in the state; our youth assured of a secure future, economic self reliance and complete empowerment of people as respectable partners in the free world was achieved. Mehbooba said her party’s agenda was aimed at freeing the state of the menace of violence and uncertainty through permanent and dignified resolution of the problem. Those who accompanied Mehbooba included MLAs Mohammad Khalil Bandh, Syed Basharat Bukhari, Peerzada Mansoor Hussain, District president Srinagar, Mohammad Ashraf Mir and all zonal presidents of Srinagar. Senior PDP leaders including Muzaffar Hussein Baig, Molv Iftikhar Husseain Ansari, Mohammad Dilawar Mir, Abdul Aziz zargar, AR Veeri, Qazi Afzal, Peer Mohammad Hussein and others have also paid rich tributes to the martyrs.
