| NC pay’s tributes to martyr’s | | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 13: National conference leaders and workers paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of July 13, 1931 at a function organized at Sheri Kashmir Bhawan here today. Addressing the gather political advisor to NC Aslam Goni said that blood of Martyr’s has created a history in the state as it changed the mindset of the then rulers which proved good for the people of the state. Ex. M.L.C and senior leaders Sheikh Bashir Ahmad of the party while addressing said event of 1931 was not a fight against any person or community but it was a movement against a system and for the rights of the people state. National conference leaders took the movement and in 1947 the national conference leaders under leadership of late Sher-i-Kashmir, Sheikh Mohd. Abdullah for the cause of the poor down trodden and weaker sections of the society was able make social laws for people of the state. Ex MP, Mirza Abdul Ch. Talib Hussain, M.R. Qureshi, Mohinder Gupta, Jugal Mahajan, Gurdeep Singh Rajesh Bakshi, Deep Mehra and Sawan Singh.
