| Protests at PCC office in support of Aslam | | |

Jammu, July 13: A massive protest rally was hold by Gujjar community in front of Congress headquarters led by Asif Khaliq Choudhary against the non-inclusion of senior party leader Ch. Mohd Aslam in the cabinet.
Protester demanded removal of state party president Saif-ud-Din Soz as he is the person responsible for ignoring the loyal persons of the party who throughout life remain loyal to the party. They raise slogans against Prof Soz. They urged upon Sonia Gandhi utilize the services of honest and loyal workers of the party Ch. Aslam by appointing him as minister in the state cabinet.
Asif Khaliq said, if the genuine demand is not met, a state wide protest will be lodged. He said for the last 30 years district Poonch has been neglected in all fronts and added people of border districts need much attention as they are militancy infested and face number of problems. Among others who also spoke were Ch. Mohd Shabir Kohli, Ch. Ghulam Abbas Kalas, Ch. Afzal Khaliq and Ch. Mohd Arif Gorri etc.
