| Notorious thief held with Rs 70,000 jewellery | | | Early Times Report
Akhnoor,July 13: Akhnoor police have arrested a notorious thief and recovered Rs 70,000 stolen jewellery from his possession. Police sources said that numerous theft cases had already been running against the accused identified as Kaka son of Mohan Lal resident of Bazigar Basti. Police had been conducting raids to arrest him for the last many years and today achieved success. Akhnoor police led by SHO Gayan Chand Sharma under the supervision of SSP Jammu Manohar Singh and SP Rural Mahon Lal on specific information conducted raid in the area and arrested him. Rs 70,000 jewellery has been recovered from his possession. His questioning is on in Akhnoor police station for further recovery police sources informed.
