| Air Marshal Browne visits Air Force Station | | |
Early Times Report Jammu, July 14: Air Marshal NAK Browne, Air Officer Commanding-in-chief, Western Air Command visited Air Force Station Jammu today on Tuesday. He was received by Group Captain Ghar Singh, Station Commander Air Force Station Jammu. He reviewed the guard of honour presented by Air Warriors of 23 Wing Air Force. He visited all units of the station, construction site of various projects and welfare amenities. While addressing the personnel, he spoke at length about the enhanced capabilities of Indian Air Force which have been achieved to encounter any situation, natural or created in the area of operational responsibility of Western Air Command. He also emphasized the need of upgradation of inventory and to keep abreast with the changes occurring in the environment. He commended upon the synergy among the Armed Forces in performing the offensive and defensive role.
