| Congress frames disciplinary action committee | | |

Jammu, July 14: The five-member disciplinary committee by the Congress, will take cognizance of the allegations leveled by Mohammad Sharief Niaz,MLA,against G.M.Saroori that he(Saroori) had campaigned against the Congress candidates in 2008 Assembly election if Niaz submits a written complaint to the committee.
Senior party functionaries today said that the committee has been constituted to discuss the role some Congressmen played during the recent Assembly and Lok sabha elections. They said some congressmen had contested election as rebel candidates and others had indulged in anti-party activities and the committee will decide what action they merited. In reply to a question he said that the five-member committee comprised P.Namgyal, Bashir Magre, Yashpal Khajuria, Amolak Singh and Abdul Majid Paddar.
