| JKDF to observe PN Bazaz’s 25th death anniversary | | |

Jammu, July 14: The 25th anniversary of late, Pandit Prem Nath Bazaz, freedom fighter and president of Jammu Kashmir Democratic Forum (JKDF) outstanding journalist and will be observed simultaneously at Delhi, Jammu and Srinagar on July 16th. Function is being organized to throw light on life and contribution of late Panditjee.
As per press release late Bazaz sowed the seeds of honest and unbiased journalism in Kashmir.
He was the genius kind of inimitable style of writing, a fearless champion of democracy. Many journalists have paid rich tributes to him on his 25th anniversary and said Bazaz did not budge from his stand. He was prosecuted, tortured, jailed, humiliated and even isolated by his own community but he stood like a rock.
