| Khan, Mudassir win senior snooker ties | | |

SRINAGAR, July 14: Veteran cueist M N Khan and Mudassir among three won first round matches on the opening day of Senior Snooker event in the District Srinagar Billiards and Snooker Championships underway at Bakshi Stadium, here today.
While M N Khan defeated Manzoor Ahmed in straight frames, Mudassir Nath outplayed Tariq Bhat in similar fashion. Mohd Ibrahim also won his match played against Faisal Iqbal.
The detailed results: Senior Snooker: M N Khan bt Manzoor Ahmed 71-07, 47-25; Mudassir Nath bt Tariq Bhat 74-44, 70-35; Mohd Ibrahim bt Faisal Iqbal 69-35, 69-24.
