In yet another case of bungling in Jammu Municipality stores verifications were made on the directions of honorable Deputy Mayor but no action has been taken against the culprits instead verifications reports are eating dust. As soon as the bungling in 5 stores of JMC including cement and mechanical stores in Manda, Health Section and Sanitary store in Town Hall and furniture store in Gandhi Nagar, came into limelight Deputy Mayor of JMC Dharamveer Singh Jamwal directed verification of the matter. The verification was done by Commissioner, Joint Commissioner Adm and Joint Commissioner Works, it came to know, during verification that bungling in stationery store and furniture store was made. It also came to limelight that old furniture consists of 200 wooden chairs, steel almirahs and 4 inverters all costing Rs 8 to 10 lakhs are missing. After preparing verification reports, files are dumped in somewhere in almirah. As per sources not only this verification reports of mixing petrol with kerosene oil in JMC vehicles are also eating dust.
