Fatehgarh Sahib July 15: SGPC president Avtar Singh Makkar on Tuesday alleged the Pakistani government was meddling in religious affairs of the Sikh community.
The Sikhs would lodge a protest in this regard, he said adding the community would not tolerate such interference in their religious affairs.
Talking to reporters here, Makkar alleged encroachment had taken place on the land of Sikh shrines in Pakistan.
He also alleged a trust property board in Pakistan had sold around 35 acres of land belonging to Gurdwara Dera Chahal on the outskirts of Lahore.
Seeking Prime Minister's intervention, the SGPC chief said Manmohan Singh should take up the matter with his Pakistani counterpart
