Jammu, July 16: Rajya Path Parivahan Nigam Karamchari union and SRTC employees federation, Jammu have urged upon the SRTC authorities to release the pending salaries of the employees hold for the last two months.
Union Members in a meeting chaired by Major Singh said that there is no account of provident fund through being contributed by the employees regularly. He also demanded that the salaries to washerman be release, as these low paid employees are facing lot of hardship, keeping in view the high cost of essential commodities.
In the meeting a Joint Action Committee was also constituted with Amrik Singh Sason as Chairman, Major Singh as president, Pawan Sharma, Romesh Singh Saini, Dev Raj Bali, Manjeet Singh, Mohd. Sharief, Ramesh Singh and Mohinder Singh.
