| Rich tributes to Bazaz on 25th death anniversary | | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 16: Rich tributes were paid to the memory of Pandit Prem Nath Bazaz, veteran freedom fighter, close associate of Sheikh Abdullah and founder president of Jammu Kashmir democratic forum on his 25th death anniversary, simultaneously at Delhi, Jammu and Srinagar. Senior leaders of various political parties, journalists and eminent personalities highlighted the many sided brilliance of late Bazaz. They described him as an initiator at political and social awakening of Kashmir, who fought for the interests of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and upheld the traditional values of secularism and amity in the valley. Speaking on the occasion late Bazaz’s son Pandit Bushan Bazaz and president JKDF described Bazaz as a true son of Kashmir who fought for interest of the people through various forums he said, Bazaz Saheb through his literary writings and innumerable books projected the inmate personality of Kashmir in its various aspects for which he would always be remembered. The meeting presided by Bhushan Bazaz, urged the Jammu and Kashmir government to erect a memorial in his honour and name a road in the state after him.
