Jammu, July 16: President Pradesh Congress Committee and former union minister Prof. Saifuddin Soz visited Shri Amarnath Yatri Bhawan at Bhagwati Nagar, the base camp for Amarnath Yatra at Jammu to know about the arrangements and the facilities being offered to the pilgrims coming for different parts of the country.
Soz also interacted with the pilgrims staying at the Bhawan and enquired about the quality of arrangements and facilities being provided to them. The pilgrims hailing from various states in the country narrated their experience and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements while suggesting some further improvement for the yatris.
He on the occasion asked the officials looking after the arrangements at the Bhawan to be courteous with the yatris and make every endeavor that the pilgrims feel comfortable in all respects here, as they are the guests of our state.
