| KPs want Ministry back to Bakaya | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU , JULY 16: The Kashmiri Pandit community appealed to National Conference high command to fulfill its commitment by inducting Vijay Bakaya in Cabinet. Addressing media persons here today, M K Yogi, president of the Kashmiri Pandit Democratic Front said that Kashmiri Pandit leader should be given representation in State Cabinet so that no mistrust is created between Kashmiri Pandit community and the party. The Kashmiri Pandits has always been provided equal opportunity in all spheres of life and governance by Late Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah and then by Dr Farooq Abdullah by giving a representation to late Sham Lal Saraf, Mohan Krishan Tickoo, P L Handoo, he said and adding, but in Omar Government KPs have been ignored. He hoped that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will keep this tradition alive by giving a due representation to the community leader Vijay Bakaya, former Chief secretary in state cabinet.
